Description :

On 9th January, 2024, the children of Kindergarten were taken to Princeton Club for a picnic. The students were accompanied by their teachers, attendants and support staff. We left the school premises at 8:15am and reached Golden Glow by 8:45 am. Busses were arranged for the travel. Upon reaching the venue, the children were first made to sit on different mats which were allocated to them according to their sections, in order to segregate the various classes. The children were then served breakfast which consisted of kachori and sabji. The children were then allowed to indulge in free play under the supervision of their teachers. Children had a gala time playing fun games with their Games teachers. Thereafter a packet of chips and Maaza was served to them as refreshments. Following this, foot tapping music was played in the background which added to the fun atmosphere. Children, along with their teachers grooved to the tunes of peppy songs. After sometime, the children were lined up and made to sit on the mats for lunch. Lunch consisted of noodles, Manchurian, chilly paneer, gulab jamun and a cutlet. The children relished their delicious lunch. Following the lunch, the children rested for a while. Thereafter, they enjoyed eating ice cream. An hour of free play followed. Soon, it was time for us to leave. A surprise awaited the children. They were also served cold drinks. The children were then lined up and made to sit in their respective busses. Exhausted after an eventful day, most of the children fell off to sleep on their way back. Very soon, we reached school. As the busses approached school, parents were seen waiting excitedly outside the school gates, to collect their wards. Dispersal was done from the school premises. A few children opted to not go for the picnic, due to various reasons. The children who did not go for picnic did not attend regular school.
