In keeping with our policy of encouraging ‘Learning by Doing’, we have planned an educational tour to Shantiniketan and Massenjore Dam in January, 2019. We are planning it as an outdoor classroom which will cover History and Geography lessons.
The dates for the tour are 10th, 11th & 12th January 2019.
Please fill in the tear off slip below, enclose a Pay Order of Rs. 4200/- drawn in favour of ‘Birla High School, Jr. Section’ and send it to your son’s class teacher by Tuesday, 10th October, 2018. Please note that cash / cheques will not be accepted.

2 Chocolates cost Rs. 10/-
We do hope students come forward and purchase the chocolates as this will encourage our boys to continue working towards bringing a smile on the faces of the less fortunate.

The students of our Social Service Club ‘Hand in Hand’ will be organising a sale of Diyas in school on Wednesday, 3rd October’ 18.
Each Diya costs Rs. 10/-

In order to help our students inculcate the habit of reading, increase their vocabulary, enhance their listening skills, encourage spontaneity and help build teamwork, a Reading Workshop has been organized in school in collaboration with Ahava Communications.
Details of the programme are mentioned below:-
Fee: Rs. 500/- per child for the two-day workshop
Dates: 17th & 24th November, 2018 (Saturdays)
Venue: Junior School Activity Room (4th Floor)
Time: 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you wish your son to be a part of the above mentioned workshop, please fill up the form given below and send the fee in a sealed envelope with his name, class and amount clearly mentioned on the envelope by Friday, 5th October, 2018.
The envelope should be handed over to our Librarian Ms. Farhat Jahan.
