Dear Parents,

We are pleased to inform you that the students of classes III, IV & V will be taken to watch the movie “THE LION KING” at INOX, FORUM during school hours, as a part of blended learning.

Each student is required to bring Rs.150/- towards the cost of the ticket in an envelope and hand it over to the class teacher by Wednesday 24^th July 2019.The name and class of the child should be clearly mentioned on the envelope.

KINDLY NOTE:

The dates are as following:

• 25.07.2019 - Class III
• 29.07.2019 - Class IV
• 30.07.2019 - Class V

• Attendance is mandatory.

• Students must be in school uniform.

• Please ensure that you child carries a raincoat and a water bottle in a small sling bag on that day.

• No student will be allowed to purchase refreshments at the theatre.

BHS/CIR- 21/19-20 FOOTBALL PRACTICE 09/07/2019

CLASSES IV TO V

Dear Parents,

Kindly note that the venue for football practice beginning on Friday 12^th July,2019 will now be held in school and not at German Football Academy 5A, Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata – 700020 as mentioned in Circular No. 20

Timings, however, remain the same i.e. 7 a.m. till 8:30 a.m.

Boys should be in their games uniform for practice.

BHS/CIR-20/19-20 FOOTBALL PRACTICE 05/07/2019

CLASSES IV AND V

Dear Parents,

We are delighted to inform you that Birla High School (Jr. Section) has collaborated with the German football Academy to coach interested students from classes IV and V for a period of one month.

We are looking forward to building a Jr. School football team that will participate in inter-school tournaments. Classes will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at 5A, Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata – 700020 (Lane beside Chandrani Pearls opposite Ashok Hall Girls’ School).  

Boys need to report to the venue directly and will be brought to school after practise on the above mentioned days by the teacher. Please note there will be periodic selections held to form the final team.

If you wish your son to be part of the above programme, kindly fill up the form attached and send it to the school office by Monday, 8^th July’19.

The cost of the above training will be borne by the school.

The first class will be held on Friday, 12^th July’2019.

(KARATE STUDENTS)

Dear Parents,

Your son has enrolled for the Karate classes held in school for the session 2019-20. If he requires a Karate uniform, the same will be provided to him in school at the cost of Rs. 800/- (Rupees eight hundred only).

The above mentioned amount needs to be submitted to Mr. Pinaki Roy Chowdhury in the school office in cash or by cheque by Friday, 12^th July’19.

The DVD of the Annual Day Programme ‘The Jungle Rhythm’ held on 19^th & 20^th March 2019, will be available from school. The cost is Rs. 60/- (Rupees sixty only) per DVD.
