Come winters and it’s time to play in the sun. It was a beautiful cold day warmed gradually by the gentle winter sun when the boys of Classes IV and V were taken out on a picnic. They were taken to the picnic spot in 6 buses on 16th of January. The pupils boarded the buses at 8:20 AM and reached Golden Glow Picnic Spot at 10:00 AM. They were served breakfast and soft drinks immediately after reaching the venue and then they were allowed to play as per their wish. The students of one section played cricket versus another section. They were full of zest and eagerness to bat and bowl for their respective classes and emerge as winners. Others played board games, card games or were enjoying themselves on the swings and see-saw. Some games like Catch the Fish were organized by the Games teachers. It was a match between the teachers and students and thoroughly enjoyed by all. After all the fun it was time for lunch to be served. The students relished the lunch. The icing on the cake for them was the ice-cream. All good things come to an end and soon the children boarded the buses after having ice-creams. It was a fun-filled and enjoyable day for everyone.
