Name of the project: PEACE ONE DAY

Birla High School collaborates with Qatar Academy Msheireb

As an interesting activity on Peace One Day, the children of Birla High School, Class III, read an informative passage which made them aware about a few facts regarding this important day. They proceeded to do an interesting grammar activity related to adjectives, synonyms and antonyms based on this passage. They finished by sharing a few lines of an act of kindness done by them and illustrated the same beautifully. Their friends in QAM- Qatar Academy Msheireb, Doha first drew and cut out shapes of doves. On these they cutouts they wrote how they could each make the world a more peaceful place. They touched on ideas like being more kind to each other and being helpful to the needy. The world will certainly be a peaceful place if we are kind to one another, is the message put forth by these young students.
