Description :
On Wednesday, 27th November 2024, Class 3 embarked on an exciting field trip to the Indian Museum. The students boarded the bus at 9:30 am, after a half an hour journey, they arrived at the museum, ready to immerse themselves in a world of history, art, and culture. As they stepped out of the bus, the students were awestruck by the grandeur of the museum's structure. A photographer from the museum captured memorable class photos for each section, preserving the excitement of the day. A select group of five boys from each section were then given the privilege of visiting the museum's library, where their curiosity was ignited by the vast collection of books and resources. The entrance foyer, with its majestic sculptures, set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The students then proceeded to explore the various galleries, including: 1. Bhargut 2. Rocks and Minerals 3. Bronze 4. Egypt 5. Coin 6. Gandhara 7. Archaeology 8. Paintings 9. Minor Art 10. Industrial Botany 11. Birds and Fish 12. Insect 13. Mammal 14. Invertebrate Fossil. 15. Human Evolution. Although some galleries were under renovation and closed to visitors, the students still had a vast array of exhibits to discover and learn from. A highlight of the trip was the sound and light show, which mesmerized the students with its illusionary scenes. The show added a magical touch to their museum experience. After a fun-filled day of exploration and discovery, the students boarded the bus once again, tired but happy, with memories to cherish. Upon returning to school, they were dispersed. The field trip to the Indian Museum was a resounding success, providing Class 3 students with a rich and engaging learning experience. The trip not only broadened their knowledge but also sparked their curiosity, creativity, and love for learning.
