We are pleased to announce that the Annual Sports Programme of our school (Classes III to XII) was successfully held, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated and supported the event.

In light of this success, we are declaring a holiday on Thursday, 19th December 2024 for students of classes Lower Nursery to V.

This break is in recognition of the effort and energy expended during the sports activities.

Please note that normal classes will be held on Friday, 20th December 2024, which is the last school day before the winter vacation.

Attendance on this day is compulsory for all students.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a joyful and restful winter break.

  • If a child is in two of the above events, please ensure instructions given by the teacher are followed.
  • Students need to wear a clean uniform on the final day. In case any student does not have a spare set of the required uniform the same should be procured at the earliest.
  • Students must carry dry tiffin, a water bottle and a napkin in a small bag on both the days.
  • All items of clothing and footwear must be labelled.

Please note the following:

● Normal school timings will be followed.

● The boys must come to school in their school uniform.

● Student ID Card should be worn.

● They must carry the school diary, water bottle and some dry tiffin.

● Dispersal will be only against the Escort cards.

  • The students have received a Consent form for the field trip today. You are requested to fill up the same and submit it to the class teacher by Friday, 22nd November 2024.

Kindly note the following regarding the KG Concert to be held on Saturday,23rd November 2024.

  • Reporting time for students: 08:30 a.m.
  • All students must wear their costume and come to school.
  • They must carry their water bottle and tiffin (dry snacks) in a small bag.
  • Please apply some base makeup/foundation at home. The rest of the makeup will be done in school.
  • Footwear to be worn as per the instructions given by the class teachers.

The first 10 names per section to confirm their participation in the class WhatsApp group will be eligible to take part in the above activities. 

 

Details of the programme will be shared with you shortly.

Other than these, there will be some games arranged that you will be able to enjoy on the ground with your grandson.

We are also organising an Antakshari competition for you. Kindly fill in the Google form to mark your presence on that day and also to state whether you are willing to take part in the Antakshari Competition. Please submit it by Wednesday, 20.11.24

  1. I request Grandparents to come out in large numbers to make the day a grand success and a special one for you and your grandson. Please note that as per Circular 35 uploaded on 1st August, 2024, Birla High School has engaged with LogIQids to bring out the best in their students and equip them with strong analytical skills and differential thinking which will form the basis of their learning. The details of the First Stage of the LogIQids Mental Aptitude Program 2024 are provided in the link given below:

Please note the following:

  • You are requested to register your son for the exam by clicking on the “Registration Card” button, once you log in to your child’s LogIQids account.
  • Incase you face difficulty in logging into your child’s account, do get in touch with the class teacher who will help you out with the same.
  • Please ensure that your child completes at least 20 practice worksheets (available under the Worksheet tab) before the exam to get 12 bonus marks (for completing 20 worksheets).
  • The exam will be held during school hours on Monday, 2nd December, 2024.
  • The students of UKG to Class III will use an HB pencil for the exam and students of classes IV and V will use a blue or black ball point pen.

This visit is designed to extend learning beyond the classroom, providing our students with the opportunity to enhance their critical thinking and observational skills in a rich, real-world setting. The museum’s exhibits will enable students to engage directly with historical and cultural artefacts, reinforcing classroom concepts and encouraging intellectual curiosity.
