They crafted a forest model using recycled materials to understand the interdependence of species in the animal kingdom. On World Tiger Day, they learned about the habitat of Royal Bengal Tigers through a virtual trip and created posters using traditional 'Patachitra' art to promote tiger conservation. Group discussions and poster-making activities fostered collaboration, while sharing their work with a partner school highlighted global efforts to protect endangered species.

ACTIVITY 3: Protecting Our Local Fish Friends: In this activity, students learned about local fish species from Bengal and the impact of water pollution on marine life through pictures and discussions. They created a river scene on blue chart paper, depicting fish and their habitat, and assembled a second chart showing pollution with glued-on plastic waste. By using cellophane for a 2D effect, they illustrated how pollution harms marine environments. A guided discussion helped them reflect on ways to reduce plastic pollution and protect marine life.
