ACTIVITY 2 : NATIONAL NUTRITION WEEK:
As part of National Nutrition Week, the Lower Kindergarten students enthusiastically engaged in activities designed to promote healthy eating habits. Through role-play, they acted as market buyers, carefully selecting only nutritious food items, instilling the importance of making healthy choices. In an art session, students creatively illustrated their "plate of healthy food" by drawing and coloring healthy items on paper plates, deepening their understanding of balanced meals. A PowerPoint presentation further educated the young learners on various healthy Indian tiffin options, emphasizing the significance of nutritious meals in daily life. Pictures of these activities were shared with a partner school, fostering a meaningful exchange of ideas on nutrition. This collaborative effort not only reinforced the importance of healthy eating but also offered a rich cross-cultural learning experience, enhancing the students' appreciation of diverse food practices.
